Business Maneger?

Can I hire a business maneger in eLance or wherever to manege my biz?

Depends on what your business entails - but for the very most part the answer is YES. I did, and it's going great. She interacts with my customers to take orders and staff to get the work done. She truly manages the business.

How do I pick a good one and not a scammer that will steal funds from me while I'm gone?

Hmm, I don't give my VA access to too much money so I can't comment here.

Can he also develop the site(manege my backlink getting people,
think of more ideas to expand my site) and not only maintain it?

Not all, but the majority of VA firms can do this with great ease.

And if lets say I be having an eCommerce store, if I'll teach him how to post new items, can he do it?

I wrote out clear instructions to my VA how to post to blogs, post to ezine articles, and post to other websites I run. As long as you lay it out nice and clear they're usually very willing to do it.

What do they charge?

Hmmm, depends. Don't be a cheapo and ask for work for $2 - $5 / hour (I did this once....the results were .... interesting.... )

If you offer a decent price - Say $9 - $12 / hour .... You'll be swamped with quotes within that range to do the work - then it's up to you to pick who you think is best suited and will give you the most for your money.

Neil - I don't look for a business partner, just need someone to manAge(xD) my
to-be biz while I'm gone, I was mostly looking to be the head-cheif of all things
and with workers to manage or just hire a manager to ease my mind.

tecHead - Thanks for the refferal but I'm FAR from getting my business up and still got
a full year b4 I leave to army and I'm positive that I'll forget about her xD

-If lets say you are willing to pay them 5k-ish/month for their managing work,
do you think that it'll be wize to come to agreement with them to work
on a precantage payment base?

If lets say I earn on average 100k/month from my site, so if I'll tell him that
I'll give him 5% month regardless the earnings and give him proof to back up
my earnings, he'll be more dedicated to improve my site so he gets better comission.

By doing so I can fire him any time beacuse he's not a partner AND I get a passionate
manager, do you think it's a good strategy?

I no be selling any eBooks, I'm planning to run an affiliate eCommerce shop..
But now when I think about it It would be a real hustle to convince/maintain
my maneger if the only data about the sales be laying in my CJ account...

I think that I'd have to set a price/month for my manegers afterall..

But then again; By giving him a fixed price for whatever he does(wheather it
be bad or good) he won't have any interest in promoting my site on any level...
Which sucks.. badly!

Do you guyz have any suggestion for a fair preformence based payment system
for a business manager? I really want my manager to have genuine interest in
promoting my site and not only leech on the profits.

p.s. As for trusting issiues is not that hard to overcome it, I can start by selecting a seemengly
respectful person with some experiance in the work, then I could befriend with him so money
won't be the only part of this.. relationship.

And lastly I could tell him upfront that if I see that he screws up once I get back(I assume that
I be getting 2 week(+/-) windows to comfortably check my biz) I'd simply fire him AND sue his ass.

Bad thing is that if he's a whacko he can devastate my business with the access that I'll be
forced to give him.. but the again I can lock most important regions of my biz and backup
my site every time I get the chance..

Why are you worrying about this if no such business exists?

Also, if you're in Israel, I presume you mean you'll be inducted into the military for national service in a year... which means you're about 17 years old. Is that correct? If so, you'll be out by 21 - 3 years is not a long time (even though it might seem so when you're 17).

All your basic needs will be taken care of by the military for that period so why not use it to further your education (in internet marketing and other things) instead of worrying about who is going to run a business that doesn't exist?
