My First Blog... :)

I just got my first blog up. Any criticisms and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Now I just need to figure out what I will do to create some traffic...

    your sidebar looks very empty - u may want to add e few widgets - like recent posts, categories, archives,etc

    also, if you want to leave the "about me link, i suggest add a pic

    and then u need to add content.....lots more.

    so just keep at it.

    while you are working on posting comments, submitting articles, etc, you can build a twitter presence - which will add 2 yr traffic later.

    don't expect overnight miracles - you are planting a tree here....it takes a while.

    and be warned....the IM niche is a rough one to get into.

      I tried to edit that, but the theme functions are not very helpful. I even tried to edit on the PHP code, but couldn't find it! Still, this was the best theme I found. All the others had more serious problems...

      and then u need to add content.....lots more.

    Hi there,

    You blog on the whole is ok, I see that there is an area where you may be able to add a pic of yourself? Would be good to see an archive in your side bar for your older posts and a list of tags that you have used in your posts to help people navigate to what they want to read.

    Hope the about is of help to you, check out my blog and see what you think, its only been running for a 3 months. Yust keep on plugging away at your blog mate and you will soon start getting a stready stream of visitors.

      Hi Nelson,

      you're doing a great job. because you're taking action, unlike so many others, who are waiting for a magic potion, you're on your way to success.

      I've started my first real blog. My coach told me i have to put 50 to 60 posts. whew! that's a lot when you're used to only putting 1-5 posts and calling it a day. my blog will be membership access.

      so i agree with the other warrior, you need lots of valuable content, that will offer solutions to attract targeted visitors.

      again, congrats on taking the first step, as you take more, they'll get easier.

      I can't even remember how many themes I went through... LOL!!

    Great domain name aswell, but why have you not installed wordpress in the root directory? You will need to get a page up on your index page as it is currently set by your hosting company.
