I find very entertaining. I compare the amount of money I invested in IM to the hopefuls in the show in their ventures and it's really PEANUTS!!!! If my IM efforts don't work out, I'm not on the streets, but a lot of them risk a lot more than their shirts! Viva IM! |

Shark Tank is definitely one of my favorite shows these days. I watch it because I can connect with the same dreams as those that go on the show to obtain financial assistance for their business. I also watch it in the hopes that I will find ideas that I can use for new products. I only wish that there were more shows like it on TV as I find it to be very inspirational and motivational at times.

One of my favorite shows on T.V. I love watching the Sharks and seeing how they analyze businesses and their value.

Yeah I like it. The guy in the middle though is a real douche! It seems all he does is try to get the camera on him for more air time, nobody really acts like that, he just does it for attention! Ashley |

I love this show... I usually dont watch it on tv but on HULU the next day so that I don't have to waste all my time viewing all the comercials. The main reason I do watch it is to get ideas. Not just from the people coming on the show but from the actual sharks themselves |

Just like using psychological profiles to get contestants that are likely to create conflict and drama in shows like Big Brother and Survivor. Wouldn't be very entertaining if everybody got along. Matt | |

I like watching shark tank as well. It gives you a bit of perspective from both P.O.V's so to speak. I most of the time agree with what the sharks have to say, but there are a few cases in which I think that an entrepreneurs product or whatever could really take off.

We have the Dragon's den here. I find it a fascinating show and no matter how crazy their business concept may be I give them kudos for giving it a go, especially on national television. Some of the advice that comes back however isn't just constructive but can also be quite scathing, I think they up the ante for the ratings.

I love Shark Tank too. Billionaires making some peoples dream come true and finding those who are too greedy or doesn't understand the marketing business.

I watch both Shark Tank and Dragon's Den. One thing that struck me right away was the difference in the amount of money people were asking for. Many in the Dragon's Den ask for 5-figure investments, while 7-figure requests are very common in the Shark Tank. I find some of the valuations laughable... It's one thing when the budding entrepreneur overvalues their company, it's another when they say htey paid a consultant to place the value. It reminds me of the old joke about hiring an accountant. Each applicant is asked how much 1 and 1 is. First applicant says "2", and is sent on his way. Second applicant says "11", follows the first one out the door. Third one asks "what do you want it to be?" and is hired on the spot. |
