What Free Traffic Methods Do You Like?

I like using search engines, I found that good SE0 on a website will get you good rankings in search engines.

I recently redesigned website for local business and did nothing more than good keywords research and on page SEO and I managed to get the webpage on the first page of Google not only that it was in the top three and I achieved this in only a few days.

I do however use socialbot directorybot RSSbot my other sites ranking in Google and Yahoo, I've found also that back linking to an article also works to getting the article in the search engines, however I'm not telling you anything you probably don't already know.

one of the best tools I bought which has helped me get the best from my websites has been market samurai, this keyword tool I can honestly say has made me a lot of money and saved me a lot of time.

I kinda like Forum marketing. It always work as the pitches are going towards a highly targeted group.

Its likes throwing a piece of tantalizing looking worm into a pond of ravenous fishies waiting to bite on your hook.

Market samurai is keyword tool and it enables me to find great keywords, great niches, and great domain names.

When I use market samurai I'm looking keywords with less than 100,000 competing pages that search term and also looking to keywords search for over 100 times a day this is 3000 times a month average.

So with markets Samurai you just enter the keyword and use the keyword research tool, this will show you results on ho many times a day that the keyword and other related keywords are searched for. I then use the column for page competition this tells me how he pages are competing for that search term. With this information would then go over to Google and type in keywords that I found and see if they are profitable keywords.

I can tell with the keyword is profitable but take a look to see whether there is any sponsored links i.e. adsense adverts and sponsored links if there is these adverts then in such almost a sure fact that this keyword is profitable one. I will then go over to my domain name supplier and type in the keyword and see what domain names are available, I normally only go for .Com or .co.uk domain names. If I cannot find a domain name with the exact search term I will add the appropriate extra word maybe the word “buy” or maybe review, Norman times 10 I can find the perfect domain name.

The power of markets Samurai has enabled me to find some very profitable niche's over the past couple of years. Some days I just type in random things to see what results, and by that I mean literally random things. Last week I typed in vacuum cleaner and came up with some very good results.

This is why I love market Samurai so much.

The only free traffic method I like is Yahoo answers.

It gives targeted traffic from potential buyers and is a very good list building tool.

Blogging, video marketing, forum posting, and twitter. Making guest posts on popular blogs can also be a really good source of free targeted traffic (though it is time consuming to write high quality blog posts that high traffic blogs will accept as guest posts).

Personally i use article marketing, directory submision, Free blogs, and mookmarking.They all can do great effect if you paid attention to article quality, keywords quality and where to pst them.

Free Traffic is one of the biggest myths in internet marketing history..

If you value your time so little that you are prepared to spend countless hours building stuff to gain traffic, then be my guest..

Personally...

I'd rather pay the price for traffic and convert that into a positive R.O.I.

Whether that be paying for content to get search traffic, or paying for advertising...

Articles posted at top-notch directories, like EzineArticles.

The reason?

I get great conversion rates to my sites, because the visitors are already "warm" and willing to buy.

I mean...

- They already researched their problem on EzineArticles, right?
- Then they got some help from reading my article...
- Then they wanted to learn more.

And the beauty of this is... highly effective EzineArticles can be only 250-300 words. It takes minutes to write one (although I outsource them all now) and the visitor value is great.

That's what works for me as of "free" methods :-)

Actually that's true to an extent...

I outsource my articles and this costs...

but

the returns are good too :-)

It's best to bring in all sorts of traffic TOGETHER.

Traffic from SEO is good, because the visitor usually (mistakenly) thinks that if a site ranks naturally, it's less commercial than clicking on a PPC ad... and there is a bit higher trust-value that way.

Probably true, probably not...

I think it works well for building a "brand" around your persona and get people to know you first... but for direct selling... not sure... And it really does take a lot of time and effort and constantly moving around.

A lot of money has been made without social media, by scaling up systematic and repeatable processes that are profitable and can be leveraged.

I love Twitter for generating Traffic, since using it I've seen my Alexa Rankings reach 300K on one site and new blogs go to PR2 within a few weeks. Ezinearicles is great too as is Yahoo Answers. Forums are also great. Giving away free incentives on my sites works really well too. Not forgetting this forum which has helped me no end.

I use Safelists, Traffic Exchanges, Text Ad Exchanges and twitter.

I get up to 30,000 visitors per day using these and yes, many are buyers. I make sales on a daily basis using only these methods. I have convertion rates as hign as 6% just from these sites.

My current site is converting at 2.64% on a $27 product with the traffic from safelists, traffic exchanges and text ad exchanges.

I have been using these for a long time and have figured out what sites to use that make sales, and the sites to stay away from that produce nothing and are a total time wasters.
