Ebay's AdCommerce...More Fees?

Has anyone here seen Ebay's latest income stream? They call it AdCommerce and it basically consists of PPC to show your ad at the bottom of the search results page in Ebay. I don't mind that so much, but I just don't see why it isn't enough to pay the listing fees and etc that we have been paying for so long. Now they want us to pay another fee before they show our listings.

What do you think?

Generally speaking I'm surprised AdCommerce has not been discussed more on WF - did a search and as far as I can make out AdCommerce is broadly overlooked?

I wonder of this is because it's relatively new?
Or maybe people have an issue with not being able to direct clicks to their own landing page?
Anyone got any thoughts on AdCommerce? I am just trying it out now to see if it might be better than Facebook for PPC...

After all, people on eBay are in a buyer mindset rather than a non-buyer mindset like on FB.

eBay Adcommerce has been live for last 2/3 years. It is PPC and you can only direct to your own eBay Store or Listings.

I have used in the past in UK site. I believe that it is no longer available in US.

As Joe wrote that people on eBay are already in buying mode so it does work but as with any PPC you need to test/research. Some product will work some won't. For example you are selling Iphone handset, this product will not work most of the time. However if you are selling information product (how to unlock is iphone) or DVD on how to use Sony Vegas then it works great. You need good product and good listing for this to work.

      Thanks
