Default Re-directing with EZA links?

I wanted to try and link from Ezine Articles to a domain I just bought and re-direct straight to a clickbank sales page.

I didn't expect the article to be checked so quick, so I haven't put the re-direct in yet...

anyway eza rejected it... because it's linking to a blank webpage!

But when I put the re-direct in will it be ok? It's just that the rejection email said:

"Your article has been placed in problem status for linking to a page consisting primarily of advertising and/or your landing page does not contain enough informative content. In order to ensure a quality user experience, we can only accept links which direct to pages which are content-rich beyond advertising and products for sale. "

If I'm linking to a long sales page on clickbank is this likely to be a prob?

Not in itself, no. As long as your article isn't also "thin on originality". As from this month, EZA editors have all been instructed to reject articles that are thin on originality and have an affiliate-link (via domain-forwarding) as the destination url.

But if your article's acceptable, then you should be alright with the link.

Whether you'll manage to make any sales this way is, unfortunately, a very different matter: if you'll excuse the comment, this technique is generally rather "less than optimal" for Clickbank affiliate marketing. (And of course it also deprives you of the opportunity to build a list, and reduces your overall probability of commission payments on "delayed sales").

Thanks,

I do get the idea behind landing pages/sign ups. That's what I normally do but am wanting to test direct linking for this particluar product.

Coz I've never done it before. Is the best way to php redirect or is there something I can upload so I just put the link in EZA as mysite.com and it takes the person to clickbankproduct.com=myhop?

Hi,

You can simply redirect your domain by adding a redirect from Cpanel in your host account..
if you have Cpanel there..it will be just easy..

Or do the php redirect or meta refresh for html page...save it as index.php or index.html
and upload to your site...
