Default Creating a Membership/Continuity Program

Can anyone help me with the following?

I'm interested into putting together a membership/continuity site.

Where do I find good software for this possibly using Wordpress that is inexpensive?

Also, can someone direct me to templates for squeeze pages and how to upload them to my site through my cpanel?

Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the Warrior Forum.

Member Wishlist could be very good for
you, you can check it out here...

WishList Member Home | WishList Member - WordPress Membership Plugin
(non affiliate link)

Billed as the fastest way to create a
membership site using Wordpress. We
use it personally - it's very good. I also
believe the gentleman who runs this, is
a member here.

On your squeeze page question, look
on the Red Bar going across the screen
towards the top of the page.

Over on the right hand side, it has the
Search function. Click on that, go to
Advanced Search, on the left type in
Squeeze Page Template, choose either
Titles or Entire Threads, scroll down and
click Search.

That should bring you up some options.

If it doesn't, try a different search term
for example Landing Page Template or
Sales Page Template or Sales Letter
Template. Most of the results will be
for Wordpress.

I hope that helps you out and once again,
welcome to the Warrior Forum!

Best regards.

Hi Germain

First off, congratulations! Your decision to take some form of action (even researching in here) will put $$$$ in your account.

I think you asked two questions - one about plugins and one about squeeze pages.

For the plugins there are loads. All of those recommended so far are good options and there are many more (I use an amazing plugin specifically for coupling Infusionsoft and wordpress).

However, you may not be aware that you have a simple "no plugin required" option. I would caution this by saying (as no doubt all the plugin vendors will do) this is not the most secure way but it is a free way and a good way to test this business model.

1. Create a domain & hosting (pick a hosting provide that offers cpanel)

2. Install a wordpress blog using cpanel (easy as clicking a few buttons and picking a password) in the following directory www.yourdomain.com/members (or whatever you want to call it: yourdomain.com/theroyalexclusivechocolateeatersfanclub for example)

3. Upload a simple sales page to the root of your domain (i.e. www.yourdomain.com/index.html where index.html is your sales page or your squeeze page)

4. Add a paypal button that takes customer's cash (very important step obvisously and redirects them to the blog registration page (most likely in this example http://www.yourdomain.com/members/wp...ction=register)

5. Let your paid users register.

Now, for the sake of brevity I have had to skip a few of the settings but there are pretty straight forward (I can be bribed into shooting a video for this next week...) and you will need to keep a track of sales vs members to make sure no-one is passing out the link without paying for the rights to login but that is a pretty simple and free membership site.

I would *always* recommend you test a new business model before investing $$$ in products, plugins, services, etc, but that is just how I run my business.

Your other question was about sales letters and squeeze pages. I have just bought these WORDPRESS SALES PAGES & LANDING PAGES -- Create Sales Letters & Landing Pages in ANY WP Theme!

and I think they would serve your purpose. Alternatively you could go for a flat html sales/squeeze page (rather than using a blog page template) in which case I would recommend you check out this rather amazing wso => $500 Of Quality PLR Products At A Giveaway Price! Hope this helps and please let me know if this was useful.

Cheers

AJ
