I want to create some website marketing videos. I have the video editing software. The video loops I want to use are available in these formats: wmv, flv, mpeg, avi & mov. 1. Which is the best import format to use to create the videos in the video editing software? 2. For website use, which is the best output format? Thanks, Joel |

.mov is a pain in the a*s for many video players. I would use wmv, flv, or mpeg to create videos. But without a doubt .flv flash is the easiest on websites and carries the lightest load.

I use MP4 and store and stream them from Amazon S3 to save server space and bandwidth. MP4 is high quality output.

Well as an IT expert i must comment on this topic: For internet use: stick with flv unless you need high quality resolution, in that case i suggest mp4 For cd/dvd use I suggest mpeg it gives the best compression/quality ratio. Cheers, TheGodfather |
