I've been active on this forum for something like 2 weeks, but marketing online for over 7 years without ever needing another job. I don't mind answering questions or sharing what I know, but I'm noticing something with this general forum. It's not very general. The mods should consider setting up an IM 101/Help subforum, and leaving this subforum to talk about practices. Not, "What is the easiest product to promote" or "I have $6 to spend, my goal is $200/day", etc. These are all great questions, and I may be alone here, but I think more people would like to have a discussion about what's working for them (generally of course) and the state of IM - not a list of 30 threads from n00bs that would rather ask instead of using a search feature or learning through trial and error. If however, there's a different subforum on WF that does deal with tactics and talk among people that aren't new to IM, then I would be interested in hanging out there instead of the General subforum - though I still think there should be a 101/Help SubForum. |
