About affiliate marketing

Hi, until this i have worked only with adsense, but now i want to make money with affiliate marketing.

Lately, i have been reading about it a lot. But i have question - what to do after you done you website and write reviews, except making backlinks. I know that google also likes page count in your website, so what i could do to increase page count in my website? Write more reviews? But if i cant find any new product in my niche?

    Many "super affiliates" make a lot of their money with PPC. If you set up a review page for your affiliate offers, then you might want to send some PPC traffic to the pages to even see if your offers convert. If they aren't converting with the PPC traffic, then you might be wasting you time when you build traffic to the site with your backlinking and other free website traffic methods.

    You can write or have written articles related to your niche for you and put them on your site.

    You can also take the articles/content and use them for traffic generation.

      It sounds like you are talking about adding more pages to your site and not more backlinks?

      If that is true you could add a about me page or contact me page. I think google likes sites that have multiple pages better than just a basic single page mini site.

    You can conbine several affiliate marketing tactics:
    First create a WP blog well optimized for your main keywords, then register to :
    - squidoo
    - hubpages and create contents and then to thier to your hub and squidoo pages.
    - youtube: create a simple video and post it on youtube.
    Last thing: create 10, 20 or more articles post them to the major directories...

    Do keyword research about your niche to find out what related info people are searching for and write helpful articles about it. Figure out the problems people in your niche have, then write articles with helpful tips and solutions. This is the type of content that will attract people searching for information in your niche.

    Everything you write does not have to be a review of products, you also want content that attracts your ideal visitors to you through the search engines.

    Plan. You have to have a plan in any business be it offline or online and even both in some cases. When you ask the question .. "what to do after you done..?" that means you went into this without a plan.

    There are tons of Affiliate Plans on the internet. Some better than others, but you would do well to seek them out, make notes (lists) that are pertinent to your "business model", and eventually make your own plan. Searching Google for Affiliate Plans is a good start.

    What you can do, is write about the history of products and how they have changed for the better over the years...such as Digital cameras ...changing from Sony Floppy disc to Digital cameras with memory sticks.
    This way you build more onto your website using great keywording and show people a better idea or product to purchase at the same time.
