how to send email to my list?

Ok, so I have a list of past customers that have bought stuff off me before. Basically in a database. What I need to do is figure out how to email to them all. I would love to put them into my aweber account but it will require a double opt in in the aweber system and that is not what I want.

So I guess what I need is some kind of program or script that will let me email out and control this mailing list. I could import this in as text or whatever.

Ideas?

      I seem to recall that Email Aces used to allow the import of external databases, but I don't know if this is still the case.

        Look at the first search link

        They have both free and paid version

        Paid version has - if I am correct variables insertion to mail

        You don't even need server - you can make your PC as server if your ISP
        allows bulk mailing.

          WorldCast works. If you want to get them to Aweber, you will probably have to give them an incentive to sign up, ie. free report, how to videos, ect. Even then you can expect a drop off. I had to migrate a list of 13,000 over to aweber and lost nearly 30% of them in the process.

          In hind sight, I probably would have done this instead...

          1. Sent out an email via WorldCast offering an incentive to join.
          2. Purge all of the new sign-ups out of my paypal database.
          3. Re-send one more email to those that didn't sign up with a different and better incentive.

    check phplist.com : Homepage : home . but before you send emails, make sure your hosting is ok with the volumn.
