WHAT IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN FORUM

I have been thinking what if you own your forum to market you biz and services online that will be great inmagine you have two hundred thousand members in your forum which means these two hundred members will be on your list if you have a product or services you will have them to reach first before thinking on other ways to market your products or services think about it i know it is not easy but i know too it is not imposible you can do it you will also be there for the internet users to always help them out with what you know because having two hundred thousand members to teach and learn from you will be a resivour of knowledge in the internet biz

    For sure it can and has been done, regularly LOL but in my experience, I have a couple which I am planning on using again some time later, it is also much harder than you think to get members and then even harder to get them to interact and use the forum, if you don't do it right you end up being the only one posting there and your forum looks like a ghost town, sure you get visitors but if they only see the admins posts, most of them go off again.

    Do a search for forums that already exist in the niche you want to try it out on and get some ideas from them (not pinch their ideas, use them to formulate your own).

    I am sure other warriors will also give some advise on this but it is not as easy as it seems, however, if you have some kind of hook to get members and then something to get them started, it can then build over time, so good luck if you do try this route.

    My advise is to start off with a blog first. Build a following, get
    user feedback/activity. When you reach critical mass, open
    your forum. That way you'll already have an actively participating
    audience.
