Are OutSourced Article Writers biting more than they can chew?

There was one article writer that took almost 2 weeks for one 400 word article, I ordered it as a sample of service.

Probably will not be high or first on my list to hire, not timely as advertised, though it was a decent article.

The subject was very generic with only a two word keyword.

As I shop around, looking at reviews of some outsource article writers work and results, I notice some get overwhelmed and you see several post that ask how much longer, usually when it goes past 36 hours to 7 days or more.

Maybe these outsource article writers need some type of AWeber automated project scheduler.

Like, lets say they have several projects that are giving them a full plate.

Maybe they should have and automated waiting list, where if you summit work, the email says, " .......for 5 pack-400 word article category, you are number 4, you will be notified when an opening is available in this slot so your articles can be completed on schedule from time of acceptance..."...........different categories for different size/volume projects.

Maybe the smaller ones get knocked out the fastest depending on stipulations, I don't know.

So the moment your project is accepted, which means he/she has an opening, it will be filled according to the usual time of completion as advertised.

That way, a person can quickly move on the next outsource that has more immediate openings for their particular project. Just firing off projects like a Gatling gun, not waiting for sporadic email responses : you would be either on a waiting list or your project is ready to be summited.

If the client does not respond in a certain time frame the opening occurs, that client goes to number 2 and the next client ready moves ahead one spot, etc.,...

The OutSource Article Writer don't take on projects they can't handle, don't enhance aspersions and doubt of current and future clients, client knows who is ready and who is not, instantly.

If you kept going to a restaurant , that you knew was good and the best, but was always full, wasting gas and time, maybe you would not go back unless you can get a reservation for a guaranteed table and service....you know the exact time, date, so either you instantly accept that schedule or move on.

Now I am just rambling and daydreaming as though a software or middleman webservice is being brainstormed....

Basically, how do you personally handle your Article Writer outsource rolladex?

Do you just blast out emails and the first one that bites gets the project?

Would you rather wait for 2 weeks for an outstanding article, or wait 24 hours for an " ok " article?

How timely and important do your projects need to get going?

Your methodologies would be interesting on this most basic duty.
