Default Request for feedback: How can I make my site convert better?

Hey everyone,

Been struggling a bit the past few weeks. I have two sites in the same niche, Xbox 360 repair, and the newest one is currently in the google dance. The newest site alone started making sales everyday and I was really surprised that the old site however has slowed down conversion wise, drastically. Not more than a month ago I was making sales almost every day on my old site but now it has come to a near halt and I don't know why?

My traffic isn't great - anywhere from 60 to 90 odd visits a day - (I'm also struggling with traffic) working everyday submitting articles and getting backlinks but I dont seem to be getting anywhere. I dont know whether to just let the site sit or keep working. There's definite money in the niche I just don't know how to tap it properly.

Can some of you guys take a look at it and let me know your thoughts, suggestions, and opinions. Perhaps some things I might be able to do to increase my conversions???

Any help would be hot thanks everyone.

The site is: 360profix.com

If your not doing so well with the conversions, but you are getting a good amount of traffic, then why not "blend" some google ads into the site? That's what I would do for starters while trying to figure out why people aren't buying.

I attached a screen shot of exactly what I would do on your site. I would expect a 10 to 30% Adsense CTR with the way I have things blended. I took example XBOX repair ads from another blog. The only thing I would do different then what I have is make the URLs in the Ads black instead of blue. I learned that in many cases this works best from Joel Comm in the "AdSense Code."

I have found that it makes your Google Ads look less and less like Google Ads since the blue links stand out so much and will just look like part of your site.

I hope all this helps!

Thanks for your response Daniel. I really haven't any experience with adsense but I reckon I can give it ago. Is there anything more to it other than placing ad's on ones site?

1. move the navigation bar from left to right, OR BETTER Remove it at all

2. reduce the header graphic, or even test without it. I will try to change it for a small square tht appear just above the navigation bar on the right side.

3. offer a free report to collect emails, and build a list+ Create an autoresponder emails sequences and this will increase your conversion drastically. Put an optin box, on the exit popup.

4. Very Weak headline, change to some punchy headline something like "Don't ever touch or send your Xbox360 to any services repair until you discover these shocking facts that only a few initiated repairmen know about the Xbox360" ; also consider adding "Red Ring of Death" to the headline.

5. Your copy can be improved, maybe hire a copywriter from the wso section or pm me(I have a good one for very low price that fix copy quite well)

6. In your copy reformat the testimonials

7. Add a "30/60 days Guarantee" box with a Seal

8. make a payment button styled "Add to Cart" and put it inside a squared dashed line

this will be enough for a first start

this will increase your conversion guaranteed

You welcome, no problem, I happy to try and help you out. There is actually a lot more to adsense that meets the eye. That is why some people get 1 to 3% CTR on their web pages and others get between 10 and 30% CTR. For starters if you want to try things out you can sign up for an account and "blend" the adds in like I have taught. In my mind this should at least get a 10% CTR the way I have things set up for you. I just don't know what the payout will be for those types of ads, so you will have to try it and see.

If you start to enjoy the residual payout from adsense, then I would pick up a copy of Joel Comm's AdSense Code book from the bookstore or on amazon.

Good luck!

Would You Like to
Repair The Red Ring of Death
Completely in Just 1 Hour?

Might be a better headline for you.

If they've got that problem, this
headline question, they can only
say 'YES' to.

The benefit is also in the headline.

Try it, split test it, see if it helps
your conversions.

As with all sales copy, edit everything
ruthlessly, taking out all unnecessary
words.

Your Google ads aren't going to help
much either in that position.

Best of luck.

How would you recommend setting up adsense for some of the more basic pages? I figure if I'm going to do it might as well not limit myself to just the home page. Any tips?
