Default Marketing tips...

Thought I'd start a thread where everyone could post their best marketing tip. Here's mine.

Never have extensions put on your nails just before you want to write your newsletter. (It plays havoc with your spelling)

Proper Tip

Build a relationship with your list, it's surprising how many online friends and potential JV partners you can meet through your list

Very common but still a great tip...

We operate our business through the pc so Never Ever forget the importance of Back-Up.

Don't be negligent and think your pc will never fail you. The cost is way too pricey so do back up regularly.

Your welcome,my bad I should have given the link to people as well.

I have a folder I share with my daughter where she can download photo's and other files etc. Much better than sending them through skype or email etc

BTW dropbox have a brilliant viral marketing system which it could be useful to think about and it doesn't cost them a penny as such.

If you refer others through the link they supply you with, they will give you and the person you referred extra space. Nice when both parties get something out of the deal.

I hear that!!

I try to treat my customers the way I want to be treated. And customer service is my number one selling benefit. In today's "fast food" society, bad customer service is now the norm, so good service makes you stand out above the rest.

Your past customers are your biggest asset. Treat them the way an important asset should be treated.

Ignore them, don't respond to questions and you will always trying to find the next one hit wonder.

Give good customer service, continue to market to them and you will have customers for life.

A small list of buyers is more valuable than a big list of freebie seekers.

To add what Brad and Keith said.

If you quit relying on Google to do your marketing for you and you learn how to bring leads yourself you will control your business destiny.

When you get customers treat them like gold. Because they are.

Bear in mind, that people in the world are bored to death. They wake in the morning with a boring spouse, drive a boring car to work, to a boring job and a boring boss. Best of all, they are able to move from one web site to another in lighting speed is the only excitement they have in life.

Here’s the kicker, in my Marketing if I can make one person happy about themselves under the circumstance that I mention above that would make my day. I could go on and on, but I won’t.

If history has taught me anything, is to be myself, and make someone smile, that would be the best Marketing tip I could give to you.

Jimmy.

Let's see...hmm my best marketing tip? There's been a lot of great posts so far! I would like to encourage everyone to become an EFFECTIVE action taker. My most recent product is actually focused on teaching people how to take action.

I believe that massive action leads to massive results (and I'm sure you've heard that expression before). However, many people don't take the time to clarify or precaution that statement.

There are actually two things that need to be said that correlate to the phrase "massive action leads to massive results."

1) Massive negative (or wrong) action leads to massive negative results.
2) The absence of action leads to the absence of results, and ultimately progress.

So, it IS extremely important to become an action taker because that elicits progress. However, you need to be sure you are taking EFFECTIVE action so that your progress is running at optimal levels. (haha my product is actually called Optimal Life Blueprint)

Anyways, I hope you all found this post useful. Thanks!!!
