Best way to connect with race car drivers?

I can only speak for myself, but I would think performance. Anything that makes them faster.

This could be something as obvious as the latest "go fast" parts and tuning tips, to something a bit more obscure like health, exercise and mental health tips to help them perform better physically and mentally.

Its all about performance.

No offense robs132, but you created a product for a group of people that you don't even know how to connect with?

If this were a bet in Vegas, I'd put solid money on you not being successful.

I agree with Michael. What does your product do and more importantly who is it targeting?

Every racer wants to go faster but there's a big difference in the needs of
drivers within each particular series.

the age old way....

1. searcg google:

"niche + forum"

"niche + club"

"niche + social network"

2. and then do some kw research - build a minisite (12 - 15 pages for a start) with related info....

offer the product in the sidebar.

just below an opt-in form......

3. find related groups on facebook and myspace....

hope this sets your mind going...

Find a an active forum that is related to cars, drivers, racers, etc. I think that is the best way to connect with the crowd you're "targeting"

No offense intended but if you don't know how to find them or where they are, how did you create your product? I mean if I was creating a product for a specific niche I would be familiar with all the major threads in the niche's most popular forums - in fact I would be a member there.

Some good suggestions above, so go look for additional and relevant material for your product and make suitable changes/additions. Wish you all the best!

I'm a big fan of auto racing. For me, this is the main focus of my Twitter account. I follow as many of the big names as I can find. I don't try to use that to send messages, but you might find a way to introduce your product.

These boards will help you find race car drivers, they are the oval track crowd but you will find cart racers among them. Alot of oval guys started in go carts and the connections are still there. Good luck !!
