Weight loss and Diabetes niche

Hi guys

I am planning to introduce a niche about "weight loss for diabetes type II"

Is that a good niche? I want to create an opt in page where I provided them free short e-book in return for their emails. I planned to send good contents for several days (perhaps 10 days) before I will be promoting affiliate products.

I am a physical therapist, and health niche is my expertise. Also, are there any solo ads you can recommend? I am specifically targeting those with diabetes.

Initially, I planned to promote my ad through FB, but they are so strict that they don't allow anyone who post about health conditions.

I look forward hearing from you

Thank you

Saif

You are in that niche and you're the one who understands the niche the best. If you have invested in it, I believe it's profitable.

Have you gone to google and typed in " How many people have type II diabetes "? The numbers suggest.. yeah its a good niche. When the numbers suggest 1 in 10 people over the age of 20 have diabetes.. thats pretty good for those selling product.

Personally if I was going into that type of niche I would be looking to focus a bit more.. so Men with Diabetes II or Woman with Diabetes II OR ( this would probably be my target ) Kids with Diabetes II. But the breakdowns are kinda endless.. Elderly with, handicapped with, Grandkids with, step kids with, Parents with... Im sure you get the idea

    Best of luck!

I researched this niche a little bit during my b.a. studies.
It is AMAZING for several reasons:
Diabetes and overweight are mostly problems of the modern rich world which is growing rapidly and there is no solution. Many governments invest a lot of money in order to deal with these problems without success since the only way to really deal with these problems is prevention through self-maintenance which is difficult for most modern world rich inhabitants.
You have a lot of potential market with lots of money to be taken so I believe that your success depends on how you present why you are better than the rest.
In this field marketing will play the biggest role in your success and I suggest you choose a niche within the broad overweight \ diabetes niche and target them with specific solutions.

I feel it's a good niche; especially because you are PT.

Now it is about creating a helpful wordpress dot org blog showing off you expertise, networking, and growing your business based on generous service.

There is definitely a huge market, myself included.

The tricky part is you must make it clear you are not giving medical advice.

You can give ideas on how to lose weight and improve diet, etc. but it's sometimes a thin line.

This is also true of the affiliate products you promote.

However, I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on WF. Just saying you need to be cautious.

You can find a lot of Type II diabetes groups on Facebook. Most of them won't let you promote but it is still a good way to network.

I understand you're new to the Warrior Forum . . . so here's a big WELCOME and one small piece of advice that will serve you well.

Never base a business decision on the advice received in a public forum.

I'm not saying anything about the niche you have chosen specifically; but I am saying that you should do your own market research and analysis and base your niche decision on that rather than how you seem to be going about choosing your niche.

    The very best to you,

Too broad still. Narrow it down some more... for men/ for women/ for bodybuilders... I don't know, it's your area... but what you have is too broad to be easy.

Consider that according the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) more than 70% of Americans are obese or overweight. And getting fatter at an alarming rate. The culprits are an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise.

This is putting them at a higher risk for not only diabetes, but also cardio-vascular disease, high blood pressure, sleep problems, immunity deficiency, and perhaps even cancer and organ failure.

The obesity epidemic is also a humongous burden on the American health care system, making up $190 billion a year in weight-related medical bills

So yeah, I would say it is a very good niche.

Because, the rest of the story is, the fastest growing fattest population is in the poorest communities, where food stamps and food banks serve up pasta, sugar, salt, rice, tons of carbs, very little fresh veggies, let alone the deserts of fresh food in poor sections of town...

which translates to: The fattest growing obese, don't have any money.

If you are going to target these niches, go for the upscale, the upper middle class, because more of the middle class is falling down lower and lower, bingeing during depression on fattening foods.

There are tons of fat people with a whole lot of money. The heavyweights in this industry are making a killing not only in weightloss products, but also with all the other associated treatments and medical risk factors.

I'm starting a "Personal Journey" site in this niche.

Concentrating on stopping the downward spiral of accelerated aging brought on by diabetes and the associated obesity. Walking and diet modification will be the main focus. I'll be the subject. My doctors at the VA and Deborah Heart and Lung will be monitoring me and giving me constant updated lab results. I go to the VA tomorrow for my baseline blood work and I have lots of patient discharge facts and figures from being released from Deborah, a few weeks, ago.

    If I don't do this, I' won't see 2020 and 2019 ain't a lock, either. :-)

Nothing to sell. Perhaps a little one-on-one motivational coaching. Beyond that, I'll bask in the untold riches brought about by helping others with overcoming their life-threatening struggle. lol

Wait, I think I'm lost. Can someone direct me to the Mind Warriors section???

I'm using 70GoingOn50.com as a domain. That is the premise, after all.

    Cheers.

I have been working in this niche for over 8 years and can probably offer people advice if anybody is serious about it.
I haven't had much time to spend in this forum so pms will be the best way to contact me.

However, I'm not interesting in receiving messages like this:
    "Yeah, man. Help me."
Ï wanna make money. Tell me how".
and messages without the name of the person sending it.

So if you do send me a pm, give me a good reason why you want to be involved in this niche. Hint: do NOT say "to make money."

If I don't reply, then I didn't like your pm.
Sorry if I sound harsh but that's the way it is right now.
