Hi, To anyone having a WSO on the Warrior Special Offers Forum... here is a tip to help you sell more of your WSO: My tip is that you also add a "Clickbank payment button"! Here is the reason why this will help you sell more: Paypal hasn't included many countries on their account acceptance list. These are countries which have Mastercard and VISA card payment systems. Many of these countries have lots of Warrior members and potential buyers of your WSO. I know lots of people who are ready to pay for your WSO with credit or debit cards, if only it was available. It's so easy to add that extra Clickbank payment option and it will make you more money. I know some folks might say, it's still possible to pay with your VISA or Mastercard when trying to pay through Paypal... I can tell you that it's almost impossinble to do that for many of these countries. If Mastercard and VISA card can be in these countries, I wonder why Paypal should discriminate against them. It simply doesn't make sense to discriminate against a population of over One billion citizens out there. Many of such people are warrior members and really want to buy your WSO, but the insistence of only payment by Paypal is cutting them out. Clickbank is a great and secure payment processor which I recommend you also use for your WSO's. It would be great to see Warrior's start adding the Clickbank payment button to their WSO pages. That would be great and considerate to Warriors and people from other countries around the world. It ultimately makes good business sense. This is just my humble suggestion :-) Looking forward to seeing warriors implementing this. |

![]() And the fact that a WSO has to be something specifically for Warriors only, either not available through other channels or available at a preferential prices for Warriors?

Sounds like a great idea and one that people should test, but keep in mind that by adding Clickbank as an option you'd also have to go through the process of getting your product approved on Clickbank then paying the $50 fee... This process could take weeks, really. BTW Alexa, your sig made me chuckle |

This won't matter too much if the WSO is taken down after a short period of time. It would still be exclusive to most warriors since it is advertise at the forum. -------------------------------------------

Just "apart from the 9% transaction-costs", then? ![]() I'm not planning a WSO myself, at the moment, but the last thing I'd want to do with one would be to hand 9% of its takings to Clickbank, of all people. Just saying.

Ha ha ha ha... Alexa, I understand how you feel, but look at it this way... you will be showing consideration to other warriors who come from countries outside the Paypal approved countries. Clickbank works worldwide since VISA and Mastercard exist in almost all countries. Don't worry about the 9% transaction fee.... think more about the extra sales and the goodwill you will be spreading by being considerate :-) Wishing you well.

I prefer 91% of something over 100% of nothing. Not sure that adding ClickBank would be practical for all cases (such as services), but it's something to consider. For those who are worried about the impact of giving 9% to CB, I'd suggest you crunch some numbers and see if you still feel the same way. Each case is different, so I'm not saying you should or shouldn't use CB. Let's say 100 want to buy your WSO for $20, but only 90 of them can use PayPal. That would be $1800. Not bad, but... If those other 10 could have purchased it if you offered another payment option, then you would have an extra $200. Even if you have to pay a 9% transaction fee (ONLY on THOSE orders) that would $18. Look at it this way, you are paying $18 to get $182 ($200 - $18 = $182). Sounds like a good return to me. Even if you had to set up an account with ClickBank, you'd still come out $132 ahead in this example. Again, each seller and offer is different, so you would have to run your own numbers to see if it makes sense for you. You can also consider transaction fees when pricing your WSO. All the best, Michael |

I'm not a WSO 'Pro' by any means, but it seems to me that you might be better served by promoting subscriptions to your own mailing list? Here's what I mean: Perhaps instead of offering your product dirt-cheap in your WSO, offer it for free in exchange for signing up to a Warrior-Specific mailing list that caters to the niche that your product addresses. This way, you can keep in better contact with Warriors who are interested in that niche while - at the same time - having the capability to offer them future related products. Seems to me that a $20 WSO that garners a bunch of targeted people interested in your niche would be cheaper (and more effective) than PPC or some of the other list-building methods out there. Of course, this tactic may be banned by the WF. I admit that I haven't read ALL the rules and regulations of the Warrior Forum quite yet! Regards, --JR |

It's really painful sometimes when you visit the WSO forum... you see a really good WSO, but you then find out that Paypal is the only way to pay :-( Believe me when I say that many interested buyers are being cut off from WSO's because of this. If you have a WSO, just try adding a Clickbank button so the rest of us can buy your wonderful WSO :-) Don't leave money on the table just because you want to stick to the "normal" way of doing things :-) |

seller and ask for another mode of payment if you can't use Paypal. I've never had a complain about not being able to buy a WSO because I only offer paypal. And how would you set up the Clickbank payment without the affiliate commission if you are not using a new account? People would just buy using their own affiliate link ... no? -Ray Edwards

And I really wanted to buy those products and others too. I have presently contacted another WSO owner, and I'm expecting a reply. Hopefully I will get a positive reply.

It seems to me that the point is moot anyway.. The stated reason to use Clickbank was to accept Visa and Mastercard purchases.. which you can do with PayPal. The customer doesn't have to have a PayPal account to pay you by credit card, unless your doing subscriptions.

Really not sure clickbank is the best way to go here. Do some research and study online, I won't mention companies , but there is a better way. It's on Google, do some checking !!

Thanks for pointing this out. I'll make sure to add Clickbank as a form of payment for my next WSO. I already have a vendor account so it's not too much trouble.

I've never had a single person ask to pay by another method other than Paypal - surely that is because people can use Paypal to make a direct Visa or Mastrcard payment even if they can't have an account?

If you are already selling your product on ClickBank, you would have to list it a second time with a lower price to qualify as a WSO. Anyone who searches the ClickBank market place for products is likely to find both versions so the WSO version would not be exclusive. So unless you are offering something else to Warriors it does not seem to comply with the rules.
