Know of a good newbie guide to PPC?

I've been learning about article marketing the past few months, but I think I'd like to expand my horizons now and start learning about PPC.

Can anybody point me in a good direction to get started?

The best way is to start with google adsense guidelines and help files. After you go through this info you'll know exactly what else you need to find out to succeed with PPC.

Many products are based on google info because people are to lazy to read this free manual. I was one of them.

BTW: "I BELIEVE I CAN!" works better than "I think I can..." :-)

Hey Jon, PPC Classroom starts prelaunch for it's 3rd go round on Thursday with the official launch beginning Nov. 3rd. I highly recommend it.

Join the war room and look in Allens Ideas, strategies, plans.

There is a free course on PPC in there.

The description is "This is a basic PPC course that covers pretty much everything a new person would need to know about PPC."

Sounds like what you are looking for, plus you'll find much much more is in the war room.

I hear PPC Classroom 2.0 is pretty solid. Gauher Chaudry is about to do a relaunch I believe.

I'm a member of PPC Coach and strongly recommend it. Very useful information, and practical ways to "earn while you learn." Most of the courses I've seen have hazy information about real tracking, and landing page optimization, but this is pretty hardcore.

Several people have told me that

this book contains considerably better, more up-to-date and more user-friendly information than anything they've seen online. (I have it myself, too, and recommend it, for what that's worth from someone who has so little experience of PPC).
