I am also new in wordpress. But it seems to me that you may need all-in-one-seo-pack for this purpose. I also hope that other experienced warriors will give you detailed reply. Thanks Monsur |

Install the All In One SEO Pack. Do a search for it at the Wordpress Plugins directory and download it as a .ZIP file. Next, browse to the Plugins section of your WP Control Panel and click on the button in the top right of your screen that says "Install Plugins". Simply locate the file on your computer and upload it. You should then see a message stating that All In One SEO Pack must be configured before it works etc. Click on the link in that message that says "click here to change my settings" or something like that anyway, then simply tick the box that says "Enabled". For more info on configuring the settings, do a search on Google. It really depends on what you're using your blog for :-) Hope this helps man, Connor! |

I wrote an article on how to set up the All-in-one-SEO pack. If you're interested you can find it here: http://www.wealthydragon.com/blog/20...ne-seo-plugin/ Cheers, Martin. |

You know Google and Yahoo don't read the meta keywords tag any more right? I don't think most other engines do any more either. It doesn't hurt to add them though.

These meta tags are still used and very important to have not only for search engines but many sites like digg, clipmarks, and other social media sites use those meta tags. James | |
