Hey guys, So I've been snooping around the forum, reading up on some posts and I see a lot of you advocate setting up a WP blog on your own domain and creating traffic by social bookmarking and pinging your site. But some of you advocated to write articles for the blog 3 - 5 times a week, and after about a month to "ease up" and post only 2 - 3 times a week. This is what i don't get: When do you start to monetize? Do you start inserting links in your posts immediately and promote products or do you wait that one month in order to generate enough traffic and then try to monetize that traffic? Also, I was thinking of making a membership site, Is it possible to accomplish that with a WP blog or do I just code up the site myself? Thanks guys. TheGodfather |

You can start monetizing the site immediately. Make sure you're providing quality links though. If a reader does not find your links helpful, chances of them returning to your site are slim. John Burton |

Can you define "quality links" a bit? Thanks, TheGodfather | |
