How a low gravity products can do better than higher gravity products in the term of conversion and cheap bids? For example : A diet products than have 500 gravity and another diet products with 30 gravity. I mean, theoretically, if you are promote a products that in the same field, how will the clicks being cheaper? You still competing with that higher gravity products for a same keywords phrase. (e.g. how to lose weight ) Am I wrong? |

If the niche is something like "weight loss" then it doesn't matter what gravity a product has, PPC bids will be high. I think what people mean about lower gravity products doing better than higher gravity one is because the latter have more competition, i.e. more people promoting the same product. Thanks, Adam |

30 is a pretty good gravity. Products with over 100 are usually new on the market, and those above 300 are hot new so the competition is fierce. Look for a different angle of your product based on its unique selling proposition and attack keywords your competitors don't use. Also avoid general niche keywords. You don't have to be on 1st position on PPC. Aim for 2nd and 3rd, these get more attention and can sometimes cost 1/3 of the 1st place. Also if your PPC campaigns are performing well your bids get cheaper! Check the refund rate for any product - this can have an impact on ROI. |

No no..You got it wrong what I try to say. If we were promoting a niches in the same field, how do one can say that promoting a lower gravity products is a good start for newbie when you are bidding a same keywords with the higher gravity products? The clicks cost would be the same since you are competing with others advertiser in the same field. |

Even in a high-competition niche like weight loss or WoW, if you see new products, just target the [product name] review keyword before anybody else. Try to snatch the .com for SEO purposes, too, and link to the site from established blogs in that niche that you already maintain.
