Email Autoresponder Services vs One Time Packages?

Would you share what service or package you use to handle your email subscriptions and newsletters?

Im using aweber but am considering changing due to cost involved ( service is great just would like to reduce cost each month ) im considering autoresponse plus but heard that blacklisting happens alot using them

also if your using a package vs a service, have you run into having your server blacklisted due to spam complaints?

I'd recommend staying with a service - they have people working to get their emails whitelisted and off of blacklists... if you got it alone, you've got a lot of work ahead of you to get your emails delivered.
