Is there a way to know how many times a ClickBank product got sold?

Hello People

I've seen a few ClickBank analytics/trends websites. Some products are ranked by popularity, the unique views they've received, etc.

However, I was wondering if this could be (rather has been) taken one step further by some website. Is there a way to know how many times a ClickBank product got sold?

It would be even better to know how many direct sales (by the vendor) were made, and how many affiliate sales were generated - a breakup of the total sales, to be precise.

Thanks in advance for your responses and help

This information's available in the Clickbank marketplace for every product. It's listed as "%rfd", which means "the percentage of sales on which an affiliate has been paid a commission for referring the sale (i.e. to the vendor)". Whether it's much use without knowing the numbers of products sold is, of course, an entirely different matter.
      Hey Alexa,

Thanks for that tip. It went unnoticed by me, I guess. However, we're still at Square One. No idea about the sale numbers. I appreciate your reply though.

I still hope that there might be some tool and someone on WF might know about it. Come on out Warrior and share the tool with us

Until that happens, would you people like to take a safe guess? Number of sales in the IM niche and number of sales in a competitive, in-demand non-IN niche?

There cannot be a tool because ClickBank does not make the
        information available in its datafeed

I think it may even be partly because of the absence of this information that so many people have allowed themselves, collectively, to believe (or "hope") that gravity figures give some indication or approximation of sales numbers, which of course they don't at all, really.

Completly agree about the gravity misconception. I also dont think clickbank will ever make public the number of sales for each specific product, nor do I think they should.

Thanks for your replies, guys. Anyone willing to take a safe guess? Would 500 be a fair number to guess?

I am curious about this as well.
How many copies of fatloss4idiots sell compared to an affiliate x?
How many copies would sell of a book about discus fish?

That is a good question. But I don't think you can tell this kind of data. You can tell how many people are actually promoting the product by checking out the gravity on CB. This will give you a good idea if it is a good product or not.
