Hi There, I have a product listed on Clickbank and have been considering the option of listing it with multiple affiliate programs (like Commission Junction, Paydotcom...etc) instead of just the one. The seemingly obvious PRO is that the product would be in front of a bigger audience of potential affiliates. The CONS are the higher fees associated with some of the other programs as well as the integration work that has to be done for checkout to work correctly with our product. Anybody have an opinion on this? Particularly if you've gone down this road before? Thanks! Steve |

I don't think more is always better. When selling products online find the hottest seller, and go for it. I also think selling a real product is far better than affiliate marketing, you'll make tons more money....sure you have to ship stuff out, but your making a lot of money. I have made as much as $26,500.00 a month doing this online. |

I think that for purposes of getting, and keeping, serious affiliates on Clickbank, it might be a very good idea to keep completely quiet about the possibility of the product also being for sale anywhere else. Many affiliates understandably don't like to imagine that the vendor's competing with them and has separate, "non-affiliate" ways of selling it on which they can't earn commissions. |

You can create different copies of the same product and sales copy for each of affiliate networks, so it's not that obvious that you're selling the same thing everywhere. U can use different price points or different form of delivery of the product, ex physical vs digital, or single download vs weekly continuity program.

I actually wasn't considering changing the terms of the affiliate program. No matter where it's listed, it would always pay out the same commission %, through a typical affiliate relationship. But, there are obviously many other affiliate marketplaces besides just Clickbank, and I was exploring the possibility of offering the product through them as well (same terms as Clickbank for the affiliates) Thanks! I'm not looking to change the product at all - simply wondering if there's much benefit to listing it in Clickbank AND Commission Junction instead of only Clickbank. Thanks, Steve

I completely see the logic. Unfortunately, though, I strongly suspect that many Clickbank affiliates won't, and may (perhaps understandably, given some of what goes on) look askance at a product also sold elsewhere, and err on the side of "giving it a miss". Especially if there's any suggestion of leads they produce being able to contact a vendor elsewhere, and all the more so if that possibility were apparent from the Clickbank sales-page. That would be widely (and perhaps understandably) seen as a "potential leak", I'd imagine. Just saying.
