In the info-product realm of Internet marketing, we all have to
deal with refunds from time to time. Especially in the marketing niche - a niche where most likely, your buyer will never implement a single strategy or method you outline - refunds are pretty commonplace. Sometimes even having a stellar product isn't enough. You can write and record until you're blue in the face, solving each and every problem your market is currently having... but you're still going to have to deal with refunds at some point. With that being said, though, I'm sure there are ways to cut down on the amount of refunds you need to give out. How do you guys write/plan/market your products in order to incur the lowest amounts of refunds? What steps do you guys take? |

Usually, people who end up getting a refund do so immediately after
they've downloaded/viewed the product. I'm more so interested in some ways to cut the number of these people down. Obviously, a good product is where you need to start. But even with an outstanding product at a fair price, you're still going to get a good amount of refunds... |

Provide support, answer emails, be as helpful as possible.
If you have a software product, make the setup process as simple as possible and include easy to follow setup/usage instructions. Thanks, Adam |

Pretty much what Adam said. You have to accept the fact that you can provide an amazing product for a reasonable price, and you will still have refunds. There will be people who genuinely aren't happy, and there will be people who are thieves and like the product but just want it for free. In either case, you do your best to avoid them, but when you get them you just need to process the refund and be done with it. Not worth the energy to worry about, in my opinion.

You can always try going to physical products... not only are they higher perceived value, but the refund rate is a lot lower than for digital only products.
