can this be done with aweber/clickbank?

Hi warriors,

Would someone let me know please if this is possible.

So I have a list of 1000.

I want to mail them an affilaite product at Clickbank that I like.

If some on my list buy - I want them to be taken off my prospect list - and added to my buyers list.

Now - the thing is - as soon as my list click on my affilaite link and are taken to my affilaite product's sales page -- haven't I lost them?

How do I know if they purchase? (other than looking in my stats at Clickbank)

I know you can set up a parser and automation rule at aweber - but as far as I can tell - that is only if the product is YOURS.

It does not seem to work if you are promoting an affiliate product.

Can indeed this be done , or have I missed something?

    Wow Frank I am AMAZED you remember that!

    Yes the solutions were ok from my original request - but I was under the impression that one could set up a parser and and then an automation rule at aweber if the product you were promoting was an affilaite product.

    After working really hard on this for a few months and noone really being able to tell me yes or no (!) it would appear as if I can not do this.

    I could if the product was mine - but not if it is an affialites.

    I understand I could say to my list 'here's a bonus if you email me and give me proof of purchase' - but that seems a little cumbersome.

    Ideally I'd like somehow Clickbank to email me if someone buys - and me to use that parser. But as it's an affiliate product - that clearly will not happen as the vendor gets the email from Clickbank - not me.
