Web traffic strategies for local business owners?

Hi Warriors,

I am wanting to produce a short report for local business owners including "7 simple strategies to drive traffic to your website"

Any suggestions from the Warrior Community would be greatly appreciated

Local business owners need local advertising.

--They can target the keywords with the name of the town in them, ex "mother-in-law assassins in Yoghurtville"
--Can create laser targeted PPC campaigns for specific regions,
--Fill info of as many free yellow pages type of online services with detailed company info including a map,
--Should create keyword rich content/articles for the website just for the purpose of free traffic, also explaining that they offer unparalleled service,
--Submit the site to good directories, clear and valid business info/address on first page is a must for a site snapshot,
--Flayers door-to-door - hire students for $2 per hour,
--Friendly video marketing for specific keyword introducing the company offer,
