Hi Guys
I dont no if this is the best place to out this and I dont even no if there is a place on this forum for such a thread but you guys always seem to no every 'loophole' there is so i might have some luck. I havent got bad credit but by the looks of it I dont have good credit either. I used to own a limousine brokerage and I had merchant facilities (credit card accepting facilities), I had all sorts of bad credit back then and allot of outstanding credit too. Before I started my new venture I cleared all my credit cards, my default had gone (I did this because when I started my limo company i wanted to start as a sole trader, my credit was too bad so they said a limited company was the only way forward) so I thought everything would be fine. Now I am being told 1) that merchant companies are not taking on any 'middlemen' at present and 2) my credit score is crap??? I have tired paypal business but no luck there, I am currently signing up with someone elses detail (no fraud) but if that doesnt work I would like to no if anyone here has any ideas as you all seem to no so much about the net and related stuff. Any ideas? What gets me is I became a qualified mortgage advisor last year and worked for 6 months doing that, they will let me provide mortgages but not take payment, how does that work?? Would really appriciate it if someone has any decent info. |

I had similar experience. If your credit score is crap then you don't have many options. Online merchant companies provide affordable services but look for reliability. Local banks also provide merchant services and may be more flexible but the fees are considerably higher.
I carefully rebuild my credit score after about 9 months, I've looked for advice on money websites, they seem to have up-to-date info. Follow the guidelines and read the small print...all I can say. |

Im not sure if this will help or not, but Jim Edwars recently put on a seminar about merchant accounts:
