Wishlist member and Idev affiliate

Does anyone know if wishlist member has included idev affiliate as part of their package? I thought I had heard that this was coming in October. I emailed wishlist but did not hear back as of yet. Any details would be appreciated.

Ive run across several forum threads about it saying it was coming, but when I went to the blog on their site nothing was mentioned there.

They are currently using 1shoppingcart dot com for their own affiliate program.

Yes, same here, just hoping someone would have some inside knowledge. I am thinking of going with them, but i want Idev also.

I was listening to an interview between Stu and Chris Garrett. Stu made the statement integration with Idev was almost complete. He didn't give a time fray though.

I built a small script to this several months ago. If you don't want to wait for WishList to get it finished, PM me. I've been real happy with the implementation, and I find that taking it outside of Wishlist gives me the flexibility to do what I want. I don't want to mess inside their script as it is encoded.

I am not a coder, but based on some other stuff I did, I'm thinking that you might want to start by experimenting with the ipn redirect script from Stellar Web Creations. I think it was $9 when I bought it.

The custom coding I had done was to use the iDev API to auto-create the affiliate account.

If you don't need that, then the ipn redirect may be all you need. It will allow you to send copies of the IPN to any number of targets. I use it to send an ipn to both iDev and Wishlist, as well as a small script that subscribes the buyer to my autoresponder (ARP3).

That way Wishlist gets to manage the membership, iDev gives my affiliate credit, and I get to subscribe and unsubscribe the member based on the ipn.

Best $9 I think I ever spent.

A new addon was just released for RAP that lets you do everything that Wishlist does and more. It's about the same price for a multi-domain license right now as what iDevAffiliate costs for ONE domain.

If you've got RAP, and you want a membership site in Wordpress, you'd be nuts not to get this new addon. (PM me for an aff link.)

Actually that sounds very good. My only concern is that RAP couldn't do the drip content thingy I needed and WishList almost can. I had to make some plugins to get it to work the way I needed.

I think I'll PM you as I was just considering WishList multi site licensing, but am open to alternatives. It really depends on whether RAP can integrate drip content or maybe work with wordpress.
