Hey guys, just want to share with you some findings while I'm searching for another webhost. If this is a duplicate post, pls let me know.

Dreamhost coupon = U97 ($50 off)

For hostgator, there are a couple of methods to get maximum discount as shown on this website.

Here is how to get maximum discount:
For any of the shared web hosting plans:

Monthly payment: promo code "freemonth" to get your first month for $0.01 of the Baby hosting plan or $9.94 off of any other hosting plan
Yearly payment: use coupon "autumn" to get %20 off and save up to $96.24

If you choose any of the reseller hosting plans:

Monthly : coupon "freemonth" to get $9.94 off
Yearly: coupon code "autumn" to get %20 off

For any of the Dedicated server plans:

Monthly payment: coupon code "autumn" to get 20% off

I used to waste hours looking for these types of coupons, most of them never worked.

One day I simply contacted live chat on the site and asked for best current promo code. I did not expect a positive reply but surprisingly I got exactly what I wanted.

I did the same when I joined rf123.com for images.

Later I had to quickly renew about 12 domains at namecheap.com and asked them for discount. They gave me a promo code for renewals even though, according to their rules, I did not have enough domains on my account to be eligible for that promo code.

Sometimes all you need to do is ask.
