In the last couple weeks I have had downtime on my server which has cost me sales and income. I was curious as to what other warriors are using for to monitor there servers for uptime? I came across Hyperspin quite a bit, and I know that a lot of hosts offer them, but every time I have looked at them from the hosts they seemed very expensive. Let me know your thoughts. |

Great question...I never have downtime. I run on a big meaty dedicated server. I decided it was overkill though and I am splitting it into two smaller servers. One for videos and downloads, and one just to serve the pages. Like you, I would be interested to know what is available for alerts though. |

Choose a web hosting provider who provides fully managed and monitored servers as this would be a better option in comparison to spending money on monitoring tools and applications. Best of luck!! |

You can check Free Websites Performance, Availability, Traffic Monitoring You don't need to have a dedicated server... all you need is a good hosting company. I have a 7$/month hosting deal and I have 99.85% uptime. Sweet. |
