I am now going to host my website at home, so I am looking for some thirdparty where I can host my site's email address and all.

Any suggestions?

thanks

your dns doesn't do MX? i don't really see the point of hosting your emails elsewhere.

If you don't know enough about DNS to know what MX means, you are almost certainly not ready for the technical end of this for a business.

You're going to host your website on your own home computer?

If that's what you mean, you might want to reconsider. Unless you know quite a lot about internet and computer security, you may quickly find it demanding a lot more time (and expertise) than you expected.

Or did you mean something else?

Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand,

Google has a service that allows this. I believe it's even free, but you might want to consider how close you let Google to that much private information.

Aside from security issues, you may want to think twice about this if you're offering your downloads from a server hanging off your home connection. Upload speeds are usually a lot lower than download speeds, and that could become a problem really quickly.

For hobbyists, this is often a fun way to go. For business use, I've rarely seen it turn out to be worth the trouble. A few low-volume consultants, but nothing where any real traffic or bandwidth is involved.
