How many people are going to start the managing product launch method, that is being advertised by Jeff walker, and how many have started to consider this method? do you think it will catch on very quickly? |

If you will do a search on this forum, the "offline gold" method has already been well documented here

I did it a few times before after I bought product launch formula. I plan on getting the product launch manager coaching when it comes out. I made a ton of money so with a little coaching from the man himself I should be able to blow it away |

IMO, product launch managing is something which is either very difficult or impossible to get good at on your own, and that's the difference between PLM and "typical" money-making methods like offline gold for example, where you can do a little trial and error. You can't really call PLM a "method", because it's more of a business model. Using Twitter to make money is a "method", using certain psychological hooks in your copy is a "method"...PLM is something which is much bigger than a simple "method". Besides, Jeff is limiting this training program to a few hundred (probably) so to make everything more manageable for him and his team. It's not going to "catch on" as you put it because like I said, it's not some fad or method, it's a business model which requires a lot of training. Just my thoughts/opinion on the matter. Curtis |

I'm more in offline business than in online, and PLF has really helped me in boosting my various offline ventures when the first version came out some years ago. I'll try to get my hands on PLM too.

I am actually doing a launch for a client right now using Frank Kerns Mass Control. It's going well, I will post my results when I am finished. As far as Jeff Walkers stuff I am sure it could take my business to much higher levels. You have to decide if that is something for you. It is a full time commitment. I love helping people launch their products and/or services so his training will just add value to what I already do. |

It's One Thing to orchestrate, plan and layout the architecture of a well planned launch. It's a whole other thing to manage the process, people and creatives, And then it's a whole other ball game having the relationships, connections and affiliates that will make it successful. (this is one of the most important keys) And, anyone who is savvy will be looking for proven results not just training or know how. Highest Regards, Sean |

Let us know how you get on Jacer, really interested to hear. Kudos for throwing the initial $10 grand at it. What I didn't seem to understand from the videos and comments was whether or not this is just focused on online products (ie. companies who already have a list and a product they want to sell online), or whether the techniques could be immediately applicable to offline businesses that do not yet have a list, and primarily offer offline services etc. |

I went in through one his partner....I knew when I got the email invitation along with the killer bonus...I would be in for sure. This business could not have come at better time for me. I love my VA business and my clients....but I am ready for something more. Something that will take all my best assets and put them to use. Not to mention the idea of not working hourly anymore and making more money....makes me a very a happy girl :-) |

I feel one best way to learn is to join Mike Merz's jvnotifypro.com and join a few contests to have a feel what it is about. You will soon realise why the successful contests are successful and eventually you can model them and add in some personal ideas. This is how I learn and do my own product launch. John |

Great to see more launchers coming into the game. Learning how to do product launches is one of the best skills you can learn as a marketer IMO. It's fun. It's profitable. And they can get CRAZY. Which keeps things interesting for sure. I've been doing launches for myself and for clients since 2004. I've of course been through Jeff's PLF and wish it was around back when I started - not to mention the current coaching. I would have saved MANY, MANY times the $10K he charged for his training since most of what I've learned has been through trial and error. There's a LOT to learn - and the learning never ends because there are so many lessons you learn with every launch. I'm just glad that the days of server crashes on the day of a launch are over. Those were very, very stressful times! Wish all of you the best - it's a lot of fun... especially when the checks come in for all the hard work you did. |

I did the live Product Launch Manager training in LA this past July. It's been the perfect addition to my business. I am a copywriter (sales letters, email) but I was also creating the the squeeze and landing pages, doing the design, setting up the whole funnel. But it wasn't very satisfying because business owners wouldn't know what to do after I was done - how to truly market it to make money. Now with the PLM training I can offer a full IM service that includes all the copy, design, as well as a strategy to actually sell it that is not just PPC and SEO. The PLM training was very good for me and the one of the reasons for that was that I could truly take it and run with it. How so? Because I was already a copywriter and I could also create a lot of the pre-launch content and design web pages. You do not have to be a copywriter to be a PLM but in my opinion it makes it easier to apply the strategy then and there, without having to outsource. And in truth, you really do not have to be able to write sales letters...but if you don't you will have to outsource this and, as we know, a good sales letter writer isn't cheap. The training does give you tons of email swipe copy. Studying it enables you to understand how to apply the many triggers. If aren't a copywriter, then you better have some other skillz to add value. PLMs who just sit back and recite the PLF strategy will have a tough road ahead unless they already have a proven track record of fat conversion rates. The thing I like about being a PLM is that I take 10% of the gross sales...plus an upfront fee. What's the upfront fee, you ask? An experienced PLM will want 15K. If you are just starting to do launches, anything below that is possible. The clients I've negotiated with over the last 3 months have come in all shapes and sizes and you can make any sort of deal you want. Lower up front fee, higher % etc. We all want the $ but at the beginning getting that conversion rate is the key...and PLF is the best way to do this. Once you do a launch and have fat conversion rates to show...you can charge the big up front bucks. Another great thing about PLF is that you can apply the strategy to meet all kinds of challenges: build list, get JVs, create buzz, generate social proof etc. The one thing PLM / PLF is NOT is a way to have a "sit back and take it easy" income stream. You have to do the work! Best, Oliver Olsen |
