Software to make thumbnails of 1st page of multiple pdfs?

I have a load of pdf files I want to include in a membership area, but I don't have images/ecovers for any of these, nor do I intend to make any, as that would be a bit overkill for this little project.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows of a software that automatically can spin through a bunch of pdf files, and take a snapshot/make a thumbnail of the first page of each file, and preferably give the image file the same filename as the pdf, so it will be easier to link image + pdf in Xsitepro afterwards.

Any help is welcome!

    After some heavy searching, I found a software that does exactly this. If anyone else needs this, you can google "VeryPDF - PDF To Image Converter". It's shareware, you can test it on 50 batches of files, which will be enough for my needs :-) Anyhow, cool little tool.
