Can someone please point me in the right direction here as i have tried AM with Amazon for 3 months now and promoted the products by using Adwords.

I have just tallied up my sales compared to the amount spent with Adwords and i feel like slitting my throat as the spend has far far out weighted the income!

Can money actually be made from AM and what are the best approaches and options other than Adwords.........are there free methods of promoting this stuff that actually work.

Also i am new to this stuff, so is AM the way to go to start an automated income. I am not looking to change the world in 3 months but just feel that making a couple of hundred quid a month would be a starting block.

Any advice welcome especially on the AM as i need to learn a cost effective way of conducting this method

    Hi Mark, welcome to the forum. AM is something that takes time to learn how to do properly. There are often courses offered here to help you get traffic but the best way is to build a list of contacts to market to, write articles, do some blogging and get back links to your web site, if you have one. Adwords is not the way to go as it is a big sink if you don't know what you are doing. The only ones who make money from it is the SE. Also suggest you read a lot and check out all the threads in here about the subject. Put it in the search box and you'll find heaps of answers.

    Welcome to WF,

    Have you been tracking your campaign at keyword level?
    Are you optimizing them for higher ROI?
    once you have done above ,move them to Other search Engine like
    yahoo and bing,

    unless, we have more detail of your spend like, Cost Per Click,
    Earning per click etc, it will be difficult to comment

    Welcome to Warrior Forum;

    Regarding Affiliate Marketing I would suggest you do the followings :

    1. Dont send traffic directly to affiliate sales page, instead make
    a landing page with an opt in form, pre sell at the landing page and then
    send them to affiliate site.

    2. Instead of spending on adwords, you can get some original articles written
    for $3-$5 (400 words) and submit them to ezinearticles.com and other major ezines.

    3. Track your hops and your conversion.

    4. Clickbank is better place to start for finding good products.

      So by writing (or get someone to write them) articles and submitting to Ezine will make money will it. I have tried Clickbank but yet again i spent more on Adwords than sales of books

        It is not like that, Dont Expect the results by over night , You have write the article regularly . For this you must have proper schedule .

        Example :

        1. One Article Per Day - (10 to 15 Min)
        2. One Blog post Per Day - (10- 15min)
        3. One Hub page post per day (10 to 15min)
        4. One Social Book mark Per day (max 5min)

        If you have the landing page insert your landing page url in above post .

        It clearly shows that if you spent some 3o-45 min per day you can create min of 4 Back Links to your Lead capture page .

        So Imagine if you can spent some 2 hours , you can create 15 to 20 back links . In one month you will create around 600 back links .

        So , i suggest you to do same work for atleast 6 months . what will be your no of back links to your landing page .

        Thats it

        Now its time to sit and see the result
