Is it possible to have a membership area on wordpress where I can post content or video and have the comments show but NOT the content/video unless you are a member?

Is there a plug in for that? If so, where do I get it?

Any other way to do it?

I know there are membership plug ins.

But I am curious if I can post just the comments to the public and the content/video for the membership part?

Basically, post great content and let everyones comments "sell" others on joining.

I'm not even looking to charge for the membership. Just build a list. So in order to see the content/video they have to opt in.

Yes there is..

That is actually what Ryan Deiss does with his membership sites.. and they are all on Wordpress.

Most membership plugins allow that.

It is just a matter or using some tags around the content you don't want seen and leave the rest open.

Here is a sample with an old post I did for you.

As you can see you can still post etc and read any posts.
