I've got 138 live articles in this niche, with 26,600 views. So I'm averaging almost 200 views per article. I also have a 24% CTR. I'm wondering how these numbers stack up and if I should keep doing what I'm doing or if I could improve on these? As an aside, my presell sucks so if anyone would be willing to help me in that regard (I'm really html and graphics dumb), that would be great. Thanks |

Those numbers appear good but it all comes down to sales, how is that going?

Terrible. I figure the traffic is fine, so now I have to work on preselling. That's where I'm at now. If I can keep getting this sort of traffic to my presell page, I hope for it to convert. Unfortunately I'm really lost in that area. Any suggestions for someone who is completely lost about writing a great presell page would be cool, PMs welcome. |

what page do your articles link to right now? Or is it many different pages? Are you collecting leads where possible to add them to your mailing list and try to sell them again and again? |

The numbers of views per articles are okay, though of course there's always room for improvement. Since this is average, I'm sure that some will do better, so check out which ones those are and see if you can do more of those articles. Look into keyword research some more so you get more views through Google. The CTR is great if this is your average click-through. But, as others have pointed out, what counts is what happens after that... And that's a priority or else all those click-throughs are ultimately wasted. Are you at least capturing the visitors with an opt-in form? Elisabeth |

Also consider this: How is your call to action in your articles? If you're simply using link bait, you'll have a much higher CTR but a lower conversion rate on your site because of wording. Example: Stop Acne NOW! Click Here To Find Out More versus Wanting To End Your Acne? You Have Access to PRODUCT NAME Here That Will Get You Started Immediately The second lead out is telling the user what they're getting into whereas the first may just lead them on thinking there's more info to come, not that they have to purchase anything, if you want to PM me a link to an article I could take a look at it. Safe Travels, |

Those numbers are pretty good but unfortunately the acne niche does not convert very well at all. I've heard from tons of affiliates that the 'Acne Free in 3 Days' product is one of the worst converting products they've ever seen. There might be others that are better but not from what I've heard. |

Try a couple of articles targeted to Adult Acne Sufferers and see if they convert any better. I would imagine a huge percentage are teens and preteens who are not going to buy anything online in the first place. Just a thought. Allen | |

Sound like good rates for the articles themselves. If you are not going to build a list why not trying just have your URL redirect straight the affiliate offer. See if that will increase your conversions and then you do not have to worry about preselling.

That's what I have been doing. I've gotten basically no sales direct linking to different products.
