Just a quick tip to video marketers, not all flash movie players work in Firefox. Firefox is now accounting for 25% of my viewers so make sure you do testing across platforms (which you should be doing as you develop anyway). Reason I said this is because some VERY big IM players have made this mistake recently. Good luck on your video endeavors. |

Thanks for the tip. Any idea what is the most common video format? It seems if I don't upload a video to youtube, then embed from youtube, a bunch of people have problems with viewing the videos.

The only one I am finding that works in Firefox without troubles is FLVPlayer from adobe site. It is built in dreamweaver (im using DW8). I tried the one in camtasia, does not work, tried a few other MP4 players, didnt work either. If anyone has an MP4 player that works in FF, please let everyone know.

I’ll be sure to keep this in mind when I start video marketing sometime in the future. I should be doing it now, but lets just say that my body is a work in progress at the moment, and presently the part of the body that is focused on the most during video marketing isn’t my best feature. After I get rid of this extra chin I’ll consider it. |

From my understanding its primarily a FF security issue from some Adobe developed flash players. Anyone care to jump in on this? Frank Bruno |

Uh I'm not sure about this. I've never had a problem playing any of these videos and of course I use Firefox. It might have more to do with the codecs you have installed, along with Firefox plugins and addons. I have over 40 plugins so that might be why I don't have a problem.

I use the Web Stunning FLV player and haven't had an issue yet *knock on wood* and as a plus it's a plug-in for Dreamweaver. Kevin |
