How big is your ping list?

I just started a blog, and as much as I can read about it here you have to ping it every time you submit a new post.

Well how big is your ping list? Do you automate that with the WP feature to ping automatically everything or do you use a service.

Right now, my ping list has about 100 links.

Is that enough or more then enough?

The more the merrier but you don't want to ping a directory more than once for the same rss feed.

pingler has over 90 also.

Perhaps you can combine and/or add to you list if you have something like a duplicate keyword remover that will remove all duplicates for your list of ping sites.

Do a search of this forum for ping list and gather and then clean your list.

I think this all comes under pingomatic,

So I think if we add only pingomatic ping link than that's enough for a blog to ping.

I hope this is way to ping. but thanks for sharing the new ping list.

True, related to that there is a pretty cool Plugin called Smart Update Pinger (can be found here: Ultimate Plugins Smart Update Pinger [Ultimate Plugins] ) that prevents your blog from repeatedly pinging directories. This is useful, because you don't want to appear as a spam.
