Is that marketing tactic worthwhile?

Hi,

Can I land a visitor directly to my landing page without involving my Facebook Page or Group and without getting into Facebook's Engagement campaign. Can I just do Facebook's Traffic campaign and drive visitor to my landing page.

Looking forward and thanking you in anticipation.

Regards,

Riz

PS: This post also falls in Social Media but for the broader scope I posted that in Internet Marketing.

  • Hi Riz,

Sorry, I am quite confused to how you plan to do your marketing through FB.

Correct me if I am wrong please: You want to drive traffic to your sign-up page with FB campaign but you do not want to use your FB page, group, or run an ad in FB to do that.

I am confused too on what you meant by FB campaign. Isn't this a part of the FB ad as well? You cannot run ads without an FB page.

    Let me know then, thanks!

      Hi affilorama-portal,

      Thank you for your response.

Yes you got it correct. I just wanted to know if it is possible that an ad is displayed on visitor's Facebook and when they click that it lands on directly to my landing page.

I don't want that visitor sees ad (1) and then goes to my Facebook page (2) and then to my landing page (3) and then from my landing page to the advertiser's page (4). Or there is something wrong in my concept of Facebook marketing.

      Regards,

      Riz

U need to have a fb fan page to redirect traffic from fb ads to it.
U cannot directly send traffic to your landing page.
How will U feel if someone clicks on your link and goes to another website? (not affiliates)

FB will feel the way since u are taking their users out of FB to ur landing page.

Well, I think its only possible by adopting the best SEO techniques. That is the only way to divert traffic to your landing page. Since social media is said to be more effective and helps you to get the potential customers, so it's an excellent technique to use any platforms to divert organic or increase traffic on your landing page.
You can use SEO techniques like on-page, and OFF-page techniques can also help in diverting traffic organically. You should focus on on-page techniques like Keywords analysis, and quality content can help you in better search ranking. For Off-page there are multiple ways like Forum Commenting, Blog posting, directory submissions, etc. can divert traffic without any involvement of facebook or any other social platform.

If so, you should choose other channels like emails, forums, SEO, adwords.
