Using Clickbank for a Product Launch

Hi guys and girls,

Quick question. If I was releasing a product and wanted to add that extra bit of spice to it with a product launch/JV setup, could I use clickbank?

So, would affiliates be able to get their links BEFORE the salespage went live?

I have looked all over clickbank, and I can't find anything about it. Perhaps I am an idiot (don't answer that :p )

If anyone could shed any light on this, I'd be mega grateful!

Many thanks.

    Hi,

Don't quote me on this , but you could set your product up and ask Clickbank not to list in the marketplace and then give your affiliates the link manually.

I don't think you will be able to be listed in the marketplace until you make an actual sale of the product.

You could also buy a copy of the product yourself to get listed which could go through to your prelaunch page and get affiliates this way.

    Hope this helps!

Do you mean the salespage or the Marketplace entry ?

      That is correct

That is no longer the case

A marketplace entry will be listed on the next rebuild after
the activation fee is paid, typically within 24 hours.

        Hi Harvey

        Thanks for this.

I was not aware of the update, so to clarify: As soon as you pay the activation fee you will be listed in the Marketplace?

You do not even need to get 1 sale anymore to be listed?

If so that is a good change as it allows you to get affiliates even quicker.

            Hi Guys.

Thanks for entering the discussion. Basically, I want affiliates to get their links weeks before the launch. So, I don't want customers buying the product until the launch, but I want affiliates to have their links ready.

This sounds possible from what you are saying, but it also sounds like that the salespage will have to be "live".

I'm a tad bit new and confused at this.

Can you say how you would like the salespage not to be "live"

              e.g
              - it does not exist
              - it says 'launch coming soon'
              - it has a dummy order link
              - it has a valid order link but not in the Marketplace

                Yes, sorry Harvey.

Ideally, just a page saying "coming soon" or something to that effect. I apologize for not being clear on that, and appreciate your help thus far.
