Just joined the internet affiliate marketing craze and I need help

I have just been introduced to internet affiliate marketing and I am wondering what steps to take to start earning good money. Any suggestions please?

Hi Iceeeeboy!

First of all, you will have to deceive your niche market (what is your favorite domain, what interested your more) The start to read about this particular niche, identify a specific problem, and find a product that solve it!

Then build a list of prospect that might iterested to solve this problem!

But there is alot more affiliate marketing tactics!

The first step to makeing "good money" is to earn "some" money first and from then on in you rinse and repeat!!

Affiliate marketing is great fun and the rewards are fantastic but you have to put the hours in first and start reading a lot of information! here is a great place but also it can fry your brain and can be an excuse to procrastinate!!

Find a niche you are interested in then see what products are available then go from there!

Everybody gave some really good tips that you can follow. Once you identify your niche make sure you build your list. When I started out in affiliate marketing I didn't know about the Warrior Forum then. I burned a LOT of money on ppc and traffic tactics that were not really effective. What really killed me was that I didn't build a list as I was going through my trials and errors testing things out. It was part of my learning curve but you can really reduce that in here with these guys. So make sure you build that list. That's were your printable money will come from.

No, don't deceive your niche!

I was coming to say the most important thing is to research and find a good niche. Then I read opportunites post and cracked up! I'm sure that's not what he meant.

But seriously picking the right niche is like the foundation of everything else. You need to find one that has the potential to be profitable yet is not too competitive for you. (If you are a brand new newbie and don't know how to market or do SEO or anything yet.)

I've written so many long posts lately about how to pick your 1st affiliate niche that my carpal is killing me. I'm sure if you search here or on Google you can find some good info. I'll try to pull some of my tips later and post them if my hand stops hurting.

first step is to create a landing page, you must build a list I dont care what anyone else says

create something of value to give away, buy some plr or have something written for you.

then you need to start learning as many traffic generation tactics and marketing principles as you can.

studying sale human psychology and human nature are also a good start
