Is Mixx good social media?

Hi every one, I am new to Mixx.com.Can you explain how is this social media regarding traffic? Thanks in advance

Hey Steve,

Mixx is actually a social bookmarking site. It's sort of kinda of like a social networking site. With Mixx you bookmark sites, articles, videos or things on the web you find of interest and share them publically with other users in the Mixx community. The reason why it is good for Traffic generation and search is because Google indexes a lot of the Mixx.com content. I have seen a lot of Mixx.com bookmarks come up on search results. So if you optimize your titles and descriptions when submitting bookmarks to Mixx you have a great chance of being indexed for a particular keyword based on search volume and competition of that keyword. This will then help drive some organic traffic to your site and also give your site some relevancy with Google. Hope this helps.
