One Warrior Gets the Product For Free - Take My Domain Name Pole

I'm coming out with a sweet little report next week and will start off but selling it as a WSO and then selling it on the website.

So I'm trying to decide on the domain name. I'm not going to say which domains exactly I'm trying to choose from but I think I can still get some honest opinions.

So here's the deal, give me your opinion on which of the following two domains I should choose for the product and someone will get the product absolutely free before I offer it as a WSO.

Obviously "ProductName" will be replaced with the real name of the product. Just so you don't get confused "ProductName" doesn't refer to someone else's product that I'm going to reveiw, I just don't want to give away the actual name so that no one goes out and buys the domains.

Which one is better?

ProductNameExposed.com
SecretProductName.com

    I like the first one, especially if your keywords are the product name. I like having the keywords first, not just because of search engines, I think it reads easier.

      The second would be better but it again depends on the product if it has the possibility of being searched for with the word secret in it then that would be the way to go. You could also play this into your title tag.

        I would prefer the first one just because
        the product name comes first in the domain.
        This way I think it can have more impact on
        the potential buyers that are interested in
        the product your report is about.

      I looked up each word for an accurate definition. Secret is definitely the the winning choice for your product compared to Exposed.
      This is really a hard call without knowing anything about the product or your keyword selection.
      I know, I know, it's a Secret that can't be Exposed right now. I'd go with Secret. The word secret has a.....well, a secret to it.

      Man, am I glad it's Friday. I need some serious rest.

        Interesting points you make here. That's why I like secret but like many ohters I also like having the keywords at the beginning.

    Difficult to say for sure without knowing what your product will be about, but I am leaning more towards the first option. Something about the word "secret" which even though I know has proven to work well time and time again, still leaves me more initially sceptical about whatever it is used for.

    I think it really depends on the product name. Whichever sounds best or has the best "ring" to it is the one I would go with.

    It's not just that flow that seems to be better, but the connotation of something being revealed is also a great hook. At least to me it's a better hook compared to "secret blah blah blah".

    Secret doesn't really work for a domain with a product title in it. Exposed is an action word and has a better reference to create more ideas.

    Exposed assumes that a secret has been uncovered, therefore creating more of a desire to know more about the product AND what it does.

    Secret takes that away, and mainly focuses on the Noun, not the benifit. Just my two!

    Results are in and the first one - ProductNameExposed.com got double the votes.

    So what were the actual domains?

    You'll have to wait for the WSO.

    Okay, just kidding, you guys deserve to know
    after all your great insight.

    EDUBacklinksExposed.com was the one you decided on.

    Obviously SecretEDUBacklinks.com was the other one.

    I've already randomly selected someone who posted here
    but I'll wait until just before the WSO starts to let them
    know they get the product for free.
