How Would You Make Best Use of This High Traffic Site?
I own a site (called Sports Fitness Advisor) that I started way back in 2001 more as hobby than anything else...
Traffic is higher than ever desite it hardly being touched over the last 3 years - about 14,000 unique visitors per day. Monetization is through Adsense and a few choice affiliates but I have never been happy with the income:traffic ratio (is anyone?!)...
I have 2 lists attached to the site totalling about 45k subscribers but they have been neglected. One list is for people intersted in sports nutrition, the other is quite broad - anyone interested in playing / coaching sport (any sport).
My main affiliate is workoutpass.com which is a nice fit to the site and I like the product (plus it pays $54 on a $99 price). However they convert about 0.1% of visitors I send them (maybe the high price tag or the way I'm sending them?).
What would you do with the site and this level of traffic? What kind of income would you expect? Anything glaringly obvious I should be doing better?
