Question on selling (Flipping) some sites?

Hey warriors, I have a quick question and would like some input, I am getting ready to start flipping some sites I have been working on and would like to know where you think are the better places to move websites fairly quickly. I know it depends on the type of site and sales copy I have flipped before and had soem success but took a break and came back to an ever changing online market, I used to use Digitalpoint and Sitepoint (before it changed to Flippa)

The market for site flipping has changed a bit I have seen.

I now know good ol WF has a website selling section so my question is of the three... Warriorforum , Flippa , Digitalpoint where would be my best bet of legitimate stream of buyers where I could have a little success?

The sites I am going to be selling are going to be, Content sites with some custom youtube videos, affiliate products, a blog, and 10-15 unique articles (so you all have a better idea)

Thanks guys and gals!

You could post somewhat comparable websites in each place and see which one brings the same results, and then shuttle more of your new ones to that one...

    That's what I would do.

Also someone on the forum recommends Flippa very highly as the place to get the most for your site.

Can't vouch for it, since I have to get started with the site flipping thing, which is why I'd experiment and/or wait for Warriors with more pertinent experience to chime in.

Are you selling sites with traffic and revenue?

If yes, I would personally recommend Flippa over Digital Point. In my experience you find a lot more serious buyers over there.

I personally don't sell sites that have zero revenue or traffic so I can't comment on where the best place to sell these sort of sites are...

    Good luck!

Could someone explain something about this site flipping activity?
When someone buys a site, what, exactly, is delivered?

A client of mine has bought a couple, with the following experiences:

    1. took many days, many days, for the site to be set up.

    2. another, a wp blog, required a number of changes made. It was on the order of an affiliate review blog -- so there were many things that needed to be changed from the seller's info to the buyer's -- who usually does this? (I assisted in the transfer, and was a little surprised to discover that the seller had never created a database...ah, ain't fantastico wonderful?)

Anyway -- thought I might also offer my services as a website transfer agent, helping buyers/sellers not just with the website transfer but the website customization from the seller to the buyer. As a techie, I actually know how to transfer websites a whole lot faster than what I've seen being done. I suspect some of the issues that people may have in getting their newly purchased websites up is due to technical issues beyond the abilities of the seller. (Not all webhosting accounts are alike; something, as a script installer, I face nearly every day.)

    Thoughts?

Flippa is recommended as you've got 0 revenue. I've personally not tried Digitalpoint or Warriorforum, but namepros might work. Dnforum is another place where you can get some serious buyers. Try listing on namepros or dnforum as they're free.

Flippa has professional flippers who are looking to grab any opportunity, so you will 99% of the time sell your site there if it has a decent template and unique articles. You need to put up an auction as you can't really decide a BIN. If you want to sell it at a BIN then put it for really low as you may not know what each one has in mind.

Good luck with your sale and as I'm a flipper too maybe you can send out an invitation to me also with the site information and necessary details.
