Hey everybody, I would like to know just how many sites can we bookmark to a bookmarking account (like Digg, Technorati, etc...), every day, before they think of us as "spammers"? Like, is 2 links/sites a day (per account) cool, and can we do *4* links, each-and-every day, to these sites (per account), or would that be along the lines of "spamming"?
For instance, if I wanted to go to Digg and bookmark 2 of my articles, would that be allowable, and can I do this *every* day, which would equal 14 bookmarks (2 x 7) every week? |

That seems awfully low.
Or is such a restriction meant for bookmarking ones own materials? I'd like to know more about that one! |

My bad everybody, I forgot to include that I will be using *SocialBot V4.2* as my bookmarking software. Using SB4.2, what would be the *best* way of going about this process, if I have 4 articles that I want to bookmark every day of the week? How many "profiles" (or maybe contacts?) would I need to create in SocialBot to be able to accomplish this?
Boy, do I ask *a lot* of questions, LOL! Oh well, I hope this topic is *edifying* to somebody on here! |

I typically bookmark 10-15 different pages a day per account using socialbot 4 and have done it this way for quite sometime with no problem. I don't however keep bookmarking the same page on the same account and usually stop bookmarking each account once around 150 - 200 bookmarks.

lol, I typically break it up during the day so it looks more natural. I can't imagine having problems only bookmarking 4 a day. There are alot of users who are natural heavy bookmarkers, to give you an example I was an IT consultant for nearly 10 years and you'd be amazed at how many natural bookmarks some of the users had. I remember rebuilding one machine and the lady had over a thousand bookmarks split between a few topics and was terrified of loosing them. lol

With 4 you wouldn't have to break it up, it's completely natural to do 4-5 a day. Doing 4 at a time for the entire list takes about 10-15 mins. Also I break them up by captcha and no captcha, that way you know when the captcha pops are going to start.

1. Default 2. Popular Services 3. CAPTCHA Sites 4. Scuttle Sites ...? Right now, I have "87 Sites" to fill in, and it seems like *most* of them have "CAPTCHA's" on them now, at least for the account creation process. Is it supposed to be this *tedious*, or is it only like this in the beginning, as I thought SB was supposed to be practically "hands off" after we created our accounts and everything... | |

I use bookmark generation (great for boomark generation). I post using 200 accounts I have setup on it and having it posting my cloud of 40 URL's (most of the 40 URL's are backlinks to my main site) every 3 hours accross the 200 accounts using 1 account at a time and posting all 40 URL's.
No problems so far

Hey breakdance,
Yes it does take some time to setup the accounts unfortunately, but once they're setup it's very automated. The way I did it was create a new profile for each pen name, one with captcha and one without. Then deleted all the scuttle sites that didn't work or timed out. Once the accounts are created it close to be hands off. I only wish the accounts were as easy to create with social bot as they are with article bot, article bot even the account creation is very hands off except for verifying email. |

Hey Matt, once SocialBot submits the links, do they give us the *exact URL* of the page where our sites have been bookmarked? The reason I'm asking is because I plan on copying/pasting those links in Notepad, so that I can *ping* them with a site link "pingler.com"...
Also, when we bookmark something, will the links show up as "anchor text" for the keyword phrase(s) that we want to rank for? BTW, would I have to worry about the submission process taking "forever", because in the signing-up process, the *majority* of the sites required "CAPTCHA", at least for signing up...but do MOST of them require this for actually *submitting* our links? Thanks Matt! |

Hey Breakdance,
SocialBot doesn't give you the exact url of where the bookmark was posted however you can get it by logging into your bookmarking account. I don't ping anymore on the 2.0 sites as the google spider is pretty much camped out on most of these sites and so they get picked up very quick. To give you an idea how well sb works I had one site ranked page 11 in google and after 10 days of adding 10-15 backlinks a day then using socialbot to bookmarks those everday the keyword is ranked page 2 now and is about to go to page 1. Be careful however as in the industry I'm in there's alot of do gooders who like to complain to google that you're trying to manipulate the serps. This has happened to me several times so I have to be sure and build a "buffer" of other backlinks, ie different accounts, domains, user accounts, and so forth so nothing sticks out if manually inspected. Sure you can specify the anchor text when submitting each url, be sure and mix it up as well, I even throw in some other sites of different interest as so you're not creating a footprint. No once the accounts are created most don't require captcha, it pretty hands off. The ones that do require captcha are slower and also so even will only let you do bookmarks ever so often. |

Also Mr. Matt, when I went to *sign-up* for all of the 83+ services, I only got like *43* of them *completed*, because the other half either had problems showing/coming up, and/or when it came to the scuttle sites, whenever you created an account, it was say, "CAPTCHA incorrect" (or something like that), even though I entered it in the *right* way, LOL!
Even though 43 sites is *cool*, I thought that there was a higher "success rate" with SB4.0, at least when it comes to account creation? I remember reading on here how most people got like 60-70 sites to work (account creation), which is a different contrast compared to my 43... |
