Default Gee, Do You Tell Subscribers Which Email Service to Use?

I just found this on a sales page:

Quote:
DO NOT use AOL, Yahoo mail or Comcast or you will not get my messages. They rarely deliver anything that comes from an autoresponder. Get gmail, it's free and you get to decide who you want mail from. AOL will no longer deliver my emails at all.
If AOL stopped delivering your ar messages, would you put this message on your site or get a new AR service account?

The only thing I can think here is this was so spammy the the account was reported too many times and got the boot.

I agree with you, that's obnoxious. As are the increasing number of web sites I encounter that work properly only with Internet Explorer or only with Firefox.

And ditto for any shopping site that only uses one carrier for shipping and refuses to deliver to PO Boxes. OK, if you're selling something the size of a refrigerator or a muffler, I understand, but refusing to mail a book to a PO Box?
