Jimmy D. Brown said it better...

I might get flamed for this, but I still see more people on this forum wasting their time floundering than anything else. Pains me; as I'd love to wanna run to this forum in anticipation of IMers United taking over the world.. but, you see more pissing contests going on than anything else...

Anyway.. like Jimmy says in this post.. some will "get it"... some won't.. enjoy

Definitely, things don't always stick with me. I am never that consistent in the things I should be, I can definitely relate to what this man is saying in the third point.

I am sure the first two points I have down, but the last one is the one that kills people.... I also think the first point is really dependent on the third one too, as he says "do one thing and do it well", but this can really only happen, if the third point is seriously applied with action.

Jimmy D. Brown is one of only a handful of guys I'd ever
listen to about how to run a successful Internet business.

Other good guys to learn from, in addition to Jimmy D. Brown,
include Terry Dean and Ken McCarthy.

Most of the usual guru suspects are just masters of the art
of distracting you into buying the next shiny object that
just happens to line their greedy pockets with big affiliate
          commissions.

My business began to take off when I began to REDUCE the
number of people I listened to. I also filtered all of the e-mails
from the usual suspects into a seperate gmail account that
          I rarely check.

Start doing stuff consistently in ONE area and your business
          will grow.

          Dedicated to your success,

Thanks for sharing this article. I have been working on STEP 2 since I am new to the IM game myself. I have particular interest in STEP 3 though, since I read about so many people giving up on things before they have truly figured out how to do them...great advice and the kick in the pants I needed.
